Central Park South Residence
New York City, 2004 Credits/DetailsThis apartment was designed within an 8,000-square-foot single floor of a hotel building facing Central Park. The existing conditions included ceiling heights of under 8'-4" and a mishmash of columns and plumbing lines. The owner is a major art collector of modern and contemporary art. We created a spacious gallery ambiance, despite low ceilings, by interconnecting the rooms.
Celeste Umpierre was the project architect while at Gwathmey Siegel Architects.
